Nonprofit Status

The Internet Legacy Institute has been granted 501(c)3 status by the Internal Revenue Service.

Governance and Leadership

Our Board of Directors consists primarily of leaders in the creation and evolution of the Internet and includes representation from higher education, the private sector, and government.  In addition, the Institute will create an Advisory Board to provide strategic guidance, assist in setting organizational priorities, and ensure that the organization’s archival practices meet the highest professional standards.
